David met Julie, a nurse from Durham City, on Newcastle’s Quayside, when he was visiting the City as part of a friend’s birthday celebrations. Although it was along way to come for a birthday party, David, who was living in London at the time, said that it was well worth the effort. He was well impressed by the City and its nightlife; but he was even more impressed by Julie!
